Why do some people choose to be failures in life?
While no one consciously chooses to be a failure, several factors can lead people to behaviours or mindsets that result in a lack of success or fulfilment in life. These factors are often subconscious or influenced by external conditions. Here are a few reasons why some people may seem to choose failure:
1. Fear of Failure or Success
- Paradoxically, fear of both failure and success can stop people from taking action. They may worry about failing publicly, being judged, or not meeting expectations, which leads to inaction. Success can also bring pressure, responsibility, or change that some people fear.
2. Lack of Self-Belief
