The Indian cricket team, led by Rohit Sharma, arrived in Delhi on July 4th, triumphantly carrying the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 trophy, which they secured in Barbados on June 29th.
The players went to the ITC Maurya Hotel, where they were welcomed with a specially prepared breakfast to celebrate their victory.
The first meeting was with our PM Narinder Modi Ji. It was a proud moment for all players.BCCI has given a 125 crore gift reward to the Indian team.

The team is expected at any time at Mumbai airport. Indian fans are standing at the airport, Marine Drive & all 24 kilometres of route to Wankahade stadium.
Marine Drive is full of a sea of fans near the seashore. All age group members standing from children, adults & old citizens. Team India has travelled around 16 hours from Barbados to New Delhi.
Even BCCI has not charged any tickets for Wankhade fans. We cannot understand how the team will reach the stadium as every inch is covered with fans on the roads.
Team India reached Mumbai airport — the victory parade to start shortly. A water canon salute has been given by airport authorities.
